Rapla Metall OÜ has been manufacturing packaging presses for handling cardboard / cardboard and film / plastic packaging since 2010. In 2017, a new product was developed as a stainless steel packaging press Packer 16SS for the food industry, which can handle cans, plastic bottles, food waste and packaging. The advantage of a conventional packaging press is the possibility to install the press in industrial indoor conditions according to the place where the most packaging occurs: different production lines, warehouses and logistics centers where cleanliness and sterility are required. Packer 16SS has a hydraulic capacity of 16 tons. Packaging waste is pressed in a press chamber into a square cube measuring 540 x 700 x 700 mm, the euro tray can hold 2 pieces. The pressed pack weighs 50-300 kg depending on the material to be pressed.

Using a waste handling press is economical and helps to
